The Urangan Community Centre is managed by the Hervey Bay Neighbourhood Centre Inc.  It is located in the tranquil setting of the Hervey Bay Botanic Gardens, located on Elizabeth Street, Urangan.

Tour De Bay

Held annually, this is one event not to miss with routes designed to cater to all riders. There is an easy flat run for beginners and younger folk and the challenging 100km ‘Centurion’ ride for the more experienced cyclists

Culture Caf

The Culture Caf ideology is to provide an opportunity for new people to the area, new migrants to Australia and socially isolated people in our community to come along to a welcoming, inclusive and fun cafe in the heart of their town and in their own Community Centre.

English Classes/ Conversational English

These classes are available for members of the non English speaking background  community of Hervey Bay who require  assistance with learning basic English. Students of the class learn the basic skills for grocery shopping, completing Centrelink forms, banking etc as well as conversational English.

Migrant Settlement Service

Provides free assistance to refugees or migrants with low levels of English who have been in Australia less than five years. (Visa andother eligibility criteria may apply) - Phone: 4194 3076
